چکیده

In gas metal arc welding (GMAW), the weld bead shape is an important factor that directly related to quality of welded joints. This study investigates effects process parameters, including speed (WS) and leading trailing wire feed rates (WFR), on shape, leg length penetration depth, in tandem GMAW aluminum 5083-O alloy. An asynchronous direct current–direct current pulse system a torch were designed applied improve productivity quality. Response surface methodology was used analyze parameters estimate regression models for predicting shape. As result observing behavior using high-speed camera, it confirmed WFR affects depth length. The coefficient determination (R2) 0.9414 0.9924 depth. It also validated estimated effective (leg depth) representative process.

Effect of welding parameters on penetration depth in FB-TIG welding of 5083 aluminum alloy

In the present study, effect of current, welding speed and preheat temperature during FB-TIG welding of AA5083 aluminum alloy was studied. Using the Taguchi method, 9 different tests were designed to investigate the effect of welding parameters on the penetration depth. Consistent with predictions, increasing the current and preheat temperature, and reducing the welding speed led to an increase...

Influence of gas tungsten arc welding parameters on the formability of aluminum tailor welded blanks

Welding method and its parameters has an important effect on the formability and mechanical properties of tailor welded blanks(TWBs). In this study gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW) is used to joint aluminum TWBs. Aluminum TWBs consist of 6061 aluminum sheets with different thickness of 1mm and 2mm. Main parameters of GTAW consist of welding current, pressure of shielding gas, welding speed and di...
